Frustrated with heavy vacuum bottles and clunky stoves, Jetboil founders Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst set out in 2003 to simplify outdoor cooking.
They discovered that the key to maximizing convenience and efficiency lay in combining heat transfer technology with innovative design. Alternating between their lab and the mountains, a series of designs were subjected to intense experimental and field testing. Dwight and Perry evolved their idea into a new product that was a total rethink of mobile cooking, and premiered their new FluxRing® technology and integrated approach. The result is a product as reliable as it is remarkable; as usable as it is unique.
